A Message From Dean's Desk: “Society is the tree and every member is its roots”
On the outset, it is my pleasure to express my happiness on opening of a new chapter for students of our department. I still remember when the first quarterly departmental magazine was published in the year 2014, it was wonderful moment and the feeling on coherence was started, and EESS will carry forwards the oneness in this department. As Oscar Wilde said “Society exists only as a mental concept: in the real world there are only individuals” every individual student is important in this society, you can make difference, and the sole purpose of this society should be “let us grow together”. This is historic moment for Electrical Engineering Department of NIT Arunachal Pradesh, which will be referred in days to come. Henceforth, every workshop, conferences and other activities will be looked after by this society, not only academic but overall activities of EE departments will be the responsible for the society. I congratulate the present and first executive members of this society, their hard works and enthusiasm has paid off. Electrical Engineering Department is the oldest department of this institute, since inception its performances were magnificent and encouraging, this should continue. One initial mission I would like to give or advise to this society is to continue the magazine “Vidhyut Sanchar” my brainchild, and let it reach all over the nations, the contributions, inventions and activities of department should reflect in the magazine. Articles from alumni are very vital which will eventually encourage and guide our students. And lastly I should say that holistic attitudes with keeping undamaged the ethical sense of “students” will only let this society success.
Once again I congratulate all students, staff and faculty fraternity of the department in witnessing the inauguration of this Electrical Engineering Students Society (EESS) today.
-Jai hind.
